Shuttle Buses for Anthrocon Hotels
We’re partnering with several services to provide free transportation for attendees between partnered hotels and the convention. Services start at 8 AM and end at 3 AM the following day from Thursday July 2 to Saturday July 4. On Sunday July 5, it starts at 8 AM and ends at 1 AM.
Transportation Notes
- Our partnered transportation providers are Pittsburgh Transportation Group buses, Lenzner Travel buses, and Gray Hare Express carts. Other services are not partnered with Anthrocon and not subject to any discount or support.
- The convention center stop for both buses and Gray Hare Express carts is located along Fort Duquesne Boulevard underneath the convention center. Signage will indicate where passengers are dropped off and picked up.
- Bus service will not operate for the Westin, Courtyard, Drury, AC Hotel or the Placemakr as they are directly in proximity of the convention center. If you require transportation, Gray Hare Express carts will be able to take you.
How Anthrocon transportation will work
- Make sure you have your Anthrocon 2026 badge with you so that our drivers know you’re with Anthrocon. There will be marked transportation spots for each serviced hotel.
- Transportation will arrive approximately every 20-30 minutes for hotels within downtown and every 45 minutes for North Shore and South Shore hotels, depending on route and traffic conditions. Saturday, July 4 will have longer times due to increased traffic and road closures.
- If a shuttle bus is full, it will NOT stop until passengers offload. Drivers will try to request an additional vehicle if they spot you waiting and are unable to take you.
- Anthrocon’s transportation service uses ADA accessible vehicles for attendees with wheelchair or mobility devices.

Shuttle Routes and Schedules
Please note that the hotels below are confirmed to have shuttle service, but specific routes may be subject to change based on traffic and road conditions.
Blue Route — Cambria, Doubletree, Kimpton Hotel Monaco, Marriott City, Omni
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 20 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Omni and Kimpton shuttle stop will be at the Hotel Monaco corner of 6th Avenue and William Penn Place
- Cambria: in front of hotel (smaller bus and Gray Hare carts only)
- Marriott City Center: corner of Centre Ave and Washington
Purple Route — EVEN, Embassy, Hilton Garden Inn
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 15-20 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Hilton Garden Inn picks up across the street on Forbes Avenue at the corner of Wood Street
- EVEN Hotel picks up at the corner of Forbes Avenue and Cherry Way
- Embassy Suites picks up near the hotel entrance
Yellow Route — Holiday Inn Express, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 45 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Residence Inn: In front of hotel entrance driveway on W. General Robinson St (Gray Hare Express carts only)
- Holiday Inn, Springhill Suites: Corner of General Robinson St and Federal St, Legacy Square Entrance to PNC Park (Gray Hare Express carts only)
Green Route — Wyndham, Renaissance
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 15-20 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Wyndham in front of the main entrance. On July 4, the transportation stop will temporarily move to Stanwix St. one block over due to road closure.
- Renaissance pick up will be at the corner of Fort Duquesne Boulevard and 6th Street, just around the corner of hotel front entrance
Orange Route — Joinery, Sheraton Station Square
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 45 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Joinery: In front of hotel
- Sheraton Station Square: Across from the hotel entrance, in front of the parking garage
Red Route — Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites
Time: Starts at approximately 8 AM every day, ends at 3 AM on Friday/Saturday/Sunday and ends at 1 AM on Sunday evening.
Frequency: Buses will arrive at each hotel approximately every 20 minutes.
Pick up notes:
- Hampton Inn: opposite of hotel in front of Heinz History Center
- Homewood Suites: corner of Smallman St. and 14th St., across of hotel
